Now, usually they dress people in the clothes from their district. Yeah, but I don’t wanna do that. I wanna do something that they’re gonna remember. Did they explain about trying to get sponsors? “I think it’s our tradition. It comes out of a particularly painful part of our history. But it’s been the way we’ve been able to heal. At first, it was a reminder of the rebellion. It was a price the districts had to pay. But I think it has grown from that. I think it’s something that knits us all together.”
“It’s really hard to tell just from a Reaping, but I think this is a very interesting mix. And whenever you have a volunteer from an outlying district, that’s something you can’t ignore. Very nice.
