Star Wars: The Complete Saga has broken global sales records and become the most purchased Blu-Ray title of all time, despite some star wars fans negative reactions to Lucas yet again altering his masterpiece. Such a described act has even spawned the term ‘pulling a Lucas’ referring to altering something that was great already for arguably no tangible reasons whatsoever. Regardless of the relevance of Lucas’ alterations, let’s take a look at the supremely villainous duo that ruled the galaxy with an iron fist. Darth Vader is the head military officer of the Imperial Army and commander-in-chief of the Great Jedi Purge. A ruthless mobilizer and commandingly efficient leader of leaders, Vader is undoubtedly a FieldMarshal Rational. Darth Sidious is the ingenious Dark Lord of the Sith who’s master plan overthrew the Republic and Jedi Order and replaced it with his brutal authoritarian regime in one fell swoop. A brilliant master planner and a highly efficient organizer, Darth Sidious is undoubtedly a Mastermind Rational. Together, they make an extremely powerful and mercilessly efficient Strategic Coordinator tandem that ruled the Galaxy. With Darth Sidious orchestrating cunning strategies and his powerful right hand man Darth Vader enacting and enforcing them, few can stand in their way. Not all goes according to plan however, when Vader has a change of heart, saves his sons life, and redeems his wrongdoings. This crucial and climactic scene of course was one of the main and controversial changes that Lucas recently made, giving fuel to the nerd complaint fire all over the world. Vader now screams “NOOOO!!” before killing the emperor, making him a huge panzy and detracting from everything I just said. Kidding aside, if you are a Star Wars fan, Star Wars: The Complete Saga will indeed make a great Holiday gift!

Stupidity Abroad
With MTV perpetually shaming our nation every week by airing episodes of The Jersey Shore Season 4 filmed in Florence, Italy perhaps it’s time to take a look at what makes these morons so delightfully entertaining. Indeed the premise of the show is quite simple: put a couple of young wild Italian-Americans in a house together, chuck booze at ’em, and watch what happens. The Jersey Shore has since evolved into a pop-culture phenomenon and TV ratings juggernaut. The Jersey Shore is undoubtedly pop-culture for the sake of pop-culture: teenagers and young adults alike can flip to MTV, watch these idiots gets drunk, and forget about their day. Given that the original cast of the show has in fact been let go after wrapping production on season 5, let’s take a look at the imbecile’s lucky enough to have signed fairly lucrative ‘spin-off’ deals. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is a classic and shameless Promoter Artisan and rampant dimwit. DJ Pauly Delvecchio is a Crafter Artisan playboy and resident jokester with a slew of popular catch phrases. Jennifer “Jwoww” Farley is a another tough and heavily siliconed Crafter Artisan. Finally Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi may be a loud-mouthed, infamously trashy, and largely obnoxious Performer Artisan, but is actually a genuinely sweet-hearted girl and serves as the heart of the show. The idea behind firing the current cast of course is to keep the Jersey Shore cash cow going with an all new and much cheaper cast, while still retaining their current ‘stars’ in spin-offs. That way America can be once again blessed with an entirely new and fresh group of utterly classless morons. Jersey Shore airs Thursdays 10/9 Central on MTV.
Wholesome Deception
Kim Kardashian’s ‘Fairytale Wedding’ to largely unknown basketball player and general idiot Kris Humphries airs this weekend and I think it goes without saying that nobody cares. Such shameless promotion however does seem to get results, as the Kardashian family cleared $65 million in revenue last year. Family Martriarch Promoter Artisan Kris Jenner is of course the enterprising brains behind it all, and without a doubt brainstorms a good deal of the ‘drama’ that the family goes through on television. Indeed: it was recently discovered that the popular E! Network supposed ‘reality’ show Keeping Up With the Kardashians is in fact scripted, or at least some events had been. At Kim Kardashian’s recent wedding to Chris Humphries, TMZ ascertained audio of producers essentially prepping a scene and even giving lines to Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick. Given this evidence, I think it’s entirely appropriate to go ahead and say that the show is a huge croc of sh*t and these people are a bunch of liars. All kidding aside, though some of this stuff seems like it could have in fact been pre-meditated: Kris Jenner is a smart woman and does a good job of bringing solid, wholesome, realistic, family-oriented messages to the table. In the interest of pop-culture and Keirsey Temperament Theory, we will now type the four Kardashian Kids. Kim Kardashian is a classic and ruthless Promoter Artisan, and the protege/puppet of ‘momager’ Kris Jenner. Khloe Karadashian Odom is a delightfully entertaining Performer Artisan, and by far the most genuinely interesting one. Kourtney Kardashian is a painfully boring Inspector Guardian. Finally the young and thus far unemployed Rob Kardashian seems to be a flaky yet sweet-hearted Counselor Idealist. Kim Kardashian’s ‘Fairytale Wedding’ airs on the E! network this Sunday October 9 at 8/7 Central and Monday October 10 at 9/8 central. Be sure to tune in!
I Got You Babe: Isabel’s problem
Latin intro – vert: to turn within
“My daughter is not an introvert,
— she’s pretty”An anonymous mother’s exclamation
One Babe had a problem. She was an introvert – she was what they call shy — but she wanted to be an actress.
This Babe was lucky. At 17, she encountered “the most unforgettable character I’ve ever met.” The rest is history: for he, Salvatore, her unforgettable character, was not “intro-verted” — in fact he was far more gregarious than shy, or, in Latinized German jargon, he was “extro-verted.” He had wiggled himself into the Los Angeles music scene; he had paid his dues as a gofer and backup singer for Phil Spector’s record company.
She had said: “For better or worse, I never plan my life. I focus on today. I love spontaneity. That is what has put me in some strange and wonderful places in my life.”
So how did this shy but ambitious teenager, a high school dropout, once one of Warren Beatty’s uncountable hook-ups, with no plans, become The Diva of Rock?
