Do What You Love

If others can benefit from it.

Yes, she is in a league of her own:  Boys Baseball Little League.  She is the only girl in the league.

Her statistics are impeccable. In four years of pitching for Brandon Farms against all-boys teams, she compiled a perfect 37-0 record. She completed a 12-0 season with the second perfect game of her career (16 strikeouts in six innings) while striking out 127 in 60 innings. Her team was the city champion three times.  She threw her second perfect game — and predicted this one just hours before she did it.

They’re Nuts

We have Armageddon.

Want to make money?

Yes?!

No, I have yet to meet personally an individual who wants to make money.

Everybody that I know, wants to spend money — admit it, you do too.  Making money is work.

Well — he will demonstrate how to make money —  If you watch and listen, and learn.

He loves making money — it’s fun for him: it’s a way of keeping score.  Who is a winner?

American Temperament

“There are strong minds in every walk of life that will rise superior to the disadvantages of situation, and will command the tribute due to their merit, not only from the classes to which they particularly belong, but from the society in general.”

So wrote Alexander Hamilton in Federalist Paper #36, one the founding articles of the United States of America.

If this is not one of the best arguments for the importance of Temperament in the Human Wealth of Nations, then I don’t know what would be.

Well-Rounded Wizardry

Happy Easter!  The spring is officially upon us my dears and with it comes the grand opening of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter in Leavesden, England, 18 miles north of London.  On the heels of the smashing success of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, our dear and beloved friends at Warner Bros. Studios have decided to make the place where the most successful film series of all time was shot available to the general public.  In other words if you ever feel the urge to go hang out at Hogwarts Castle or Diagon Alley, you now have the ability to do so:

And wouldn’t you know it, but the Four Houses of Hogwarts match up right on the nose with the four temperaments.  Much like the sorting hat matches up right on the nose with the Keirsey Temperament Sorter.  I know…. Right!??  Let’s take a look.

Utilitarian Comradery

Yup.  You guessed it.  The AvengersAnd the four basic personality typesHow did you know?!??

It looks like Loki’s army is going to be a bunch of Skeletor from He-Man looking things a.k.a this guy right here:

Which actually looks pretty cool I guess.  I definitely wouldn’t fight that guy.  Would you?  He looks mean-spirited.

Where did you find these people Loki?  They look like undesirables.  And we all know what happens when you mingle with undesirables.

What perhaps we should be more concerned about is the guys that are on our squad.  Like for instance the Not So Friendly Green Giant and the Armored Avenger.

Cutthroat Diversity

Game of Thrones is finally back and Thank the Gods because some of us have been waiting since Season 1 ended without eating food, sleeping, or going to the bathroom.  Ya.  It’s been rough.  But the wait is finally over as HBO’s outrageously phenomenal epic fantasy series Game of Thrones returns for Season 2 this coming Sunday April 1st at 10/9c on HBO so strap your boots on folks ’cause it’s gonna be a good one.  Funny thing about outrageously phenomenal series’ is that they tend to know whatsup.  When I say know whatsup, what else would I be talking about other than the Four Basic Personality Types.  And while we’re on the subject of the Four Basic Personality Types, let’s take a look at the Four Major Houses of Westeros.

Concrete Comradery

Just when you thought I wasn’t going to talk about The Avengers anymore.  BAM.  Dyads.  Although these four basic personality types certainly have their conflicts, they also once in a while get along with one another.  One such a heartwarming comradeship exists between fellow Marvelsupersquad members the Incredible Hulk and Captain America.  Both superheroes are defined by their extraordinary physicality, but perhaps there is more behind these two than meets the eye.  Let’s take a look.

That Deep Bond of Rivals

They appeared quite different one black, one white; one a quiet small town guy and the other an urbanite with a big smile.

But, they had a common obsession.

And a common Temperament: Artisan.

They were competitive.  Very competitive — actually they both wanted to be the best, period.

Intergalactic Dyad

MIB³ released a new trailer this week and apparently these people aren’t very good at math because I don’t think MIB³ is an actual mathematical equation.  Or is it?  I don’t know.  I’m not a mathematician.  The third Men in Black installment will see both Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones return to their titular roles of Agent K and Agent J.  Such a dynamic duo of course is CLASSIC Artisan/Guardian.  Whether in a  professional, romantic, or often comedic relationship, Artisans and Guardians find themselves paired up with one another far more than any other temperament.  So let’s go right on ahead and take a look at this classic KTT duo.
