How low could he go?

He lived in his car for months, “on Interstate 5, slept in the back seat, with my Jack Daniels.”

Pretty low.

How high can it go — more than 2K, most definitely!

Duncan Niederauer:
“… anybody who knows your story knows this was basically the bottom for you. this was where — “

Jim Cramer:
“you know what this tells us, man. I had the chance — how did you get this?”

Duncan Niederauer:
“These guys, your colleagues found it, wheeled it out here and kept it as a surprise for you. You know what this tells you. I had a chance to give the commencement speech at my almamater this year and the theme of my speech was Why Not. If you dream big enough, sometimes when it looks like it’s the worst, you can come back from everything. And look at you can come back from it.”

Jim Cramer:
“In this country you can come back from anything. You got it, baby. I slept back here, I had a .22 caliber pistol, a bottle of Jack Daniels. It was cold. You know what, you can come back from anything! You can come back from anything.”

Duncan Niederauer:
“Look at you today, it’s your 2,000th show, baby. And I know you’re going to close the market remotely tomorrow from Engelwood Cliffs, so when you do it don’t hit anybody.”

Jim Cramer:
“Those days are over too!”

As another Performer Artisan, Jimmy V, said: Never Give Up!

Cramer started in journalism, switched to getting a law degree, then settled on investing, finally finding his calling of his TV show, Mad Money.

The cable television program Mad Money with Jim Cramer first aired on CNBC in 2005. According to CNBC’s Web site in an article titled, “Mad Money Manifesto” by Jim Cramer, the show’s mission statement and Cramer’s job

“…is not to tell you what to think, but to teach you how to think about the market like a pro. This show is not about picking stocks. It’s not about giving you tips that will make you money overnight – tips are for waiters. Our mission is educational, to teach you how to analyze stocks and the market through the prism of events.”

To provide viewers with “the knowledge and the tools that will empower you to be a better investor,” Mad Money features many segments, including: The Lightning RoundGame PlanExecution DecisionOff the ChartsSell BlockMarket MarshmallowsOutrage of the DayMad Bull DiseaseAm I Diversified, and Mad Mail. Performers are the people for whom it can truly be said “all the world’s a stage.” Born entertainers, they love the excitement of playing to an audience, and will quickly become the center of attention wherever they are.

The Performers’ talent for enjoying life is healthy for the most part, though it also makes them more subject to temptations than the other types. Pleasure seems to be an end in itself for them, and variety is the spice of life. And so Performers are open to trying almost anything that promises them a good time, not always giving enough thought to the consequences.

Like the other Artisans, Performers are incurably optimistic – “Always look on the bright side,” is their motto — and they will avoid worries and troubles by ignoring them as long as possible.  [Please Understand Me II]
