My father and I don't disagree much but in the case of Clint Eastwood, I have read a biography and his ex-wife's biography, and concluded that he is a Crafter Artisan (Tactical Contender). The question is does he have that hard edge that he exhibits as an actor. I say he does, he also uses a coterie of actors for his films, and the Crafters seem to have that "buddy" system most for film production.

I read an interview of Clint Eastwood and he talked about his resistance to change in the world by thinking too much; rules out the N. Contender makes sense with his description of Dad moving the family around and going to new schools all the time. He bragged about how he had to knock out a bully at every new school he went to.

Your description sounds like Adam Sandler as well; TC buddy system...

By and large, I don't try to type actors, because they and their roles are often not the same, and because many of them do seem to be SPs of some sort. Though I do sometimes wonder if Meryl Streep isn't an NT.

Oh yes! Absolutely about Meryl. I find that easy to accept.

I'm surprised about Clint, but then my idea that he was a Mastermind was based on a favorite character with Meryl Streep by the way. Bridges of Madison County. Silly of me! Clint in Bridges though reminded me of a Mastermind. Anyone else?

As for Robert Downey Jr. I'd have to go with one of the Artisans, probably the Performer.
