Yea, looks can be deceiving. But yes, thought it was time for a new pic and wanted to make this a 'smiling' pic. Thanks!

another misconception: guardians are mostly conservative.

that's SO not true. my father is the definition of a supervisor and he's pretty liberal and so am I. just beaucse we value traditions doesn't mean that we can't be loose on some of them.

Liberal in what way? Politically, culturally? Cause-oriented? There are tons of ways to be "liberal."

Blech.

I can see it, though. In fact, I'm surprised that Guardians aren't seen as politically liberal as well, since they tend to be so parental.

out of curiousity... why "blech"?

anyway... i CAN see why people think we're conservative but honestly... i don't know many guardians who are.

i've actually read an article about ISFJs (taken from myers-briggs) and it said that we are also amoung the most likely to believe in a higher spiritual power (that's got to be bullsh*t).

Because I think that causes and charities are best privatized. Looking at the global record of government-entangled economies is eye-opening in that regard.

I also don't think that Guardians are necessarily all religious or spiritual. Maybe moreso back when institutional religion was seen as the cement that held society together. To the extent that it still is, I'm sure that Guardian involvement is steadier than no.

Right now, when I am dependent on mail services to get some information out, I do appreciate logistical concern. Every conscientious Guardian working there is highly valued by me.

I have already been thinking of alternative ways: cell phone, internet, networking...

How will I do it, if the needed address labels don't arrive today. Write them all by hand? That would take me an extra two-three hours.

Stupid of me to keep waiting for the mail all day, only to find out that what was urgent, wasn't there.

The answerer on the phone for complaints, could have been a Guardian, sharp when it comes to business. "Pay for a mailbox on the post office if you want your mail faster".

The postman, on the other hand, friendly as an angel, empathic with the customers who had been waiting all day.. probably Idealist. Very service minded, obviously a thinking person, but the quickness you see in a postman who knows his route in a concrete way was missing.

I think I would switch the two. I think KTT consultants should try to make a customer out of the norwegian postal services. I don't agree with their staffing.
