I saw that, of course >:d<
I would start with stripping down to what fundamentally informs my life, which is that I'm a seeker on the path...where I stand spiritually is, steadfastly, on a path about love.. (Bell Hooks)

...and that explains the intense curiosity Sam, (biographer), was talking about, the life motivational thing.

The trusting intuition, he, (Ray) has numerous discussions/interviews about "not thinking" but going with his intuition:

PUMll page 141 Values of Idealists

Idealists trust their intuitive powers----Idealists wait for their intuition to show them the way.

He has said that, almost word for word.

On the hand gestures, my friends the champions are female Italian (Sicilian), Chinese male and a female American, no finger pointing, but animated in levels of enthusiastic chatter.

He was disgusted by the selection of "guests" before him, Engelbert Humperdinck (a singer) and Sammy Davis, Jr., (entertainer) which had nothing to do with the landing on the moon. He saw the moon landing as a monumental moment in the history of mankind. Not to be lightly regarded with "mere" entertainers. He left, and went over to Cronkite's show. A Performer wouldn't care who is before or after, his interest is in his Performance, not the idea of a man on the moon.

I have always been like this. I thought there was something wrong with me for the longest time. Certain things would get under my skin that didn't seem to bother most people, and I realize it usually had to do with a big picture idea, while most others were just tuned into what was going on and enjoying themselves. The fact that things rubbed me the wrong way so much rubbed me the wrong way. Now I'm just learning to accept myself as I am, and I leave a place or event that bothers me, and it's my perogative (sp) to either let others in on the real reason I'm leaving or to keep it to myself.

So, I am wondering, do Champions have the reverence for life thing as strong?

Goodrum wrote:My friend the champion gets really bubbly, but she is enlightening (and really entertaining) with her storytelling, her hands are everywhere, but no palm down or finger pointing...more air traffic control waving and beckoning

This is me, G.
Hands all over the frickin' place.
And I catch myself doing the "hands moving in a circle wave, palms faced toward myself with fingers spread" like I'm "beckoning people toward me" ---> especially when I am telling a story.
I have begun to identify different temperament's facial expressions in reaction to all that hand animation & bubbling words/chatter.

Then there is the laugh. People recognise my laugh.
My Champion son has a very recognisable laugh, too.
Christina has mentioned the "Champion" laugh ---> something about "a baby's laugh" being symbolic of Champions ...

I don't think so, G. I think you have no match on that subject.
But I experience it as pretty dang strong. ---> I think the bigger difference is in the "dramatic expression" of it.
Think Joan Baez -vs- Princess Diana. ---> Lots of folks wanted Joan to "just shut up, already", nobody felt the need to tell Diana to "shut up".

oh crikey-okay.. mkb (on the last).

On the hand signals...my friend mesmerises me, it's like being hypnotised, you guys are so cute. She is Italian and I was wondering if it was a bit of culture too, so do you guys identify with Ray Bradbury?

Spot on with her laugh, it is....chiming, melody, like a bubbling something-yes.

I find myself trying to get her to laugh, but no need, she gets rolling and just laughs anyway, it's so cute.
