You would still be able to compare them, Olga. I don't understand what your beef is.

Some subforums will probably receive far more traffic than others, and people may tend to check (or contribute to) their own subforum more often.

Only a little more often. Obviously everyone likes having mixed discussions too much to go to that extreme.

You people all act like Guardians when it comes time for change. ;)

Goodie, you are a headtrip for sure.

My beef is that when I want to address them all, I wouldn't have a place to post where that would fit. It wouldn''t be nice to put it in one of the forums, when all temperaments would be just as much involved.
:bluemad: I don't need it, I don't want it, and I don't like it! You're scaring me!! :bluemad:

I don't know if you guys were understanding Stellar. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is what I got out of it:

Not all posts we would write would have to go into these subforums...it would be like the love subforums. We already have a Keirsey Temperament Theory Forum, and if you wanted everybody to be interested in what you had to say, or if it was a question or comment about all temperaments, just write it there.

These subforums would pertain to non-love subjects about the different temperaments, and anyone could post in all of them and anyone could reply. You wouldn't have to, of course, just like the rest of the forums. Plus, there would only be four, one for each of the major temperament groupings--rationals, idealists, guardians, and artisans.

I don't think that's a bad idea. There are times I have a question for another temperament and I don't feel right putting it in the love forums because it doesn't pertain to everyone, but I don't feel right putting it in KTT because it doesn't pertain to all temperaments and I feel like asking a question about a rational on there might make other temperaments feel left out.

Is this along the lines of what you meant, Stellar?

Yep, exactly.

And you would have no reason to "address them all" anymore than you would have reason to address a topic each out of the General, Famous Personalities, and LoveZone all at once.

Just a correction from my earlier post--I meant to say that I don't want to put them in the love forum if they don't pertain to love, not everyone.

I would like :D  :NF: a monastical, mystical subforum....a winding staircase that leads into....please feel free to ----------->
I would start with stripping down to what fundamentally informs my life, which is that I'm a seeker on the path...where I stand spiritually is, steadfastly, on a path about love.. (Bell Hooks)

...a lush, green garden inside an incredible atrium. . .

A library wing would be great too. Stuff to write on/with and my iPod (though I need one with more memory way more memory).

If there was a heaven for me that would be it.

I'd rather the Borgmaster figured out a way expand the message inbox, so it wasn't full after 50 messages. I don't like having to delete messages that people have taken the time to send me just so I can read the new message coming in.

That was annoying to me too until I figured out you could move it all to your Saved folder. Of course that has the same limit but at least it gives you time to save messages if you want.

What annoys me right now is that signatures can only be so long. But to me all that is less important than a greater facilitation for more dynamic conversations. Surely you share this, too, loving to explain the Artisan temperament and all? :ahum:

>:d< Sometimes I wish I was slightly less of an idiot. Thanks, though. Is there a limit to the amount of new folders you can create?

"greater facilitation for more dynamic conversations"? Where's the "yanking it" smiley?

If I was in charge, I would consolidate the forums we have already. I don't see any need for a forum within a forum within a forum like we have. Explanations of Artisan temperament stuff can go in the KTT section, or in Artisan Love forum or whatever. I don't think placement is that important, really. Just my opinion.
