I interepreted it as: actually look into things just because they don't seem to be in line with your own beliefs doesn't mean you have to accept them.

How about you?[/quote]

That's about right. I approve.
In other words, stretch your imagi-N-ation :)

Anyone know Mr. Aristotle's type?

"The only good is knowledge, the only evil is ignorance."
"An unexamined life is not worth living."

--Socrates, ENFP

I'm a fan of him too. For a champion, he seems rather rational; not altogether a bad thing :)
And yes, I suppose Aristotle was a rational. I should read more of his stuff.

New idea: Zizek quotes! Let's get some awesome ENTP action in this beezy.

"love is this kind of cosmic imbalance. I was always disgusted with this notion: 'I love the world or universal love.' I don't like the world... I'm somewhere in between 'I hate the world' or 'I'm indifferent towards it.' But the whole of reality, it's stupid, it is out there, I don't care about it. Love for me is an extremely violent act, love is not: 'I love you all.' Love means I pick out something... I say, 'I love you more than anything else.'

In its formal sense.. love is evil."

"Your life is a sacred journey.
And it is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation, continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way.
You are on the path... exactly where you are meant to be right now... And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love."

There are a few SR's around this site. It's great to read about Einstein, I like how he his mind travelled.

Oops, see what I did there! Talking about mind...aaargh, well, I have a very good excuse, I'm flakey as hell. :-)

No need to be sorry! I do and still do the same things, you see what happens?

We are inclined at times to pull out bits and pieces and not stand back and look at the whole picture...

Einstein, the whole person.

Just as I can do, act, say some singular non idealist stuff, that is not me, as the whole Goodrum. And the other thing is, what was the context that Albert was speaking this? Look at his life's work, how he used his words and tools, I would say probably because Einstein is such a historical character, and such an interesting one, Keirsey's may have an article on him somewhere, we should have a rat around, I'll post the link if I find it.

This is how I am helping myself learn, this is all good! Good stuff Jango the tiger!!!
