I think I like that guy. While I was watching my dad came in and said, "That's John Wooden, it's said he's the greatest college basketball coach." And as I was watching it, I thought about how he was saying trying the best is all you can do, and thought about how different that is from all those coaches who get pissed off when their team doesn't win, and thought how amazing it seems that someone who seems so much more affectionate would also be so much more successful in coaching.
God gave us faculties for our use; each of them will receive its proper reward. Then do not let us try to charm them to sleep, but permit them to do their work until divinely called to something higher.
