The Last Phase Transition in the 7th Level: No, but it seems big, because of the positive feedback.

http://www.ted.com/talks/steven_johnson_where_good_ideas_come_from.html

If ideas are developed in complex networks, at what level would we expect to see the development of ideas? I was thinking at the societal level since our ideas seem to incubate in our minds after absorbing information from others.
"I intend to live my life an obedient man, but obedient to God, subservient to the wisdom of my ancestors; never to the authority of political truths arrived at yesterday at the voting booth."

I was going to write that you get to bypass the few guardians who hinder innovation. Not all, just some. But nobody would have understood on the TED site  . I think he (Chris Anderson) is wrong about the terrorists. They are probably among the first to have capitalized on the use of technology and 'creative' thinking to 'set up' a 'successful' 'organization' and transmit lots of information on how to make bombs etc... via the net.

Chris Anderson Champion Idealist?

It's fantastic, actually both those ted talks.

Australia is on the verge of establishing a fibre national broadband network, the education, science/research, health, business, (a thousand other things we may not even know fully realise yet) is to benefit, investing in the country, the people, society-all of it.

Chance favors the connective minds.

Great talks. Reminders.
I would start with stripping down to what fundamentally informs my life, which is that I'm a seeker on the path...where I stand spiritually is, steadfastly, on a path about love.. (Bell Hooks)

I really like that. I've been down on video for a while (unlike most of my fellow Inventors who can't get enough of it) mainly because video is too slow for me. I absorb text from dozens of sources in the time it takes to watch a single video. Still, I think that video does help to inspire people better and there are definitely times when it's easier to decode. I think Artisans in particular will benefit from this revolution.
If a revolution destroys a government, but the systematic patterns of thought that produced that government are left intact, then those patterns will repeat themselves.... There's so much talk about the system. And so little understanding. --Robert Pirsig

This is pretty awesome.

I love how at the end the people he pointed out in the crowd were labeled with Keirsey types. "Inventor," "____ Champion," "Mentor." hah.
