Doctor Who, BBC

The Doctor

A strange alien man referring to himself as the doctor, whom possesses a blue police public call box time machine phone booth device, shows up in London to stop some erratically behaving plastic manikins.

The Doctor serves as a solo British Men in Black, safeguarding humanity and planet earth from extraterrestrial threats as they arise.

Sometimes in these conflicts he is slain, reincarnating himself into a new body, with a new personality, while retaining the same memory base.  During these expenditures he typically recruits one or more human support vassals.

Alongside his DeLorean, he possesses a sonic screwdriver, and a psychic notepad that mimics necessary legal documents, tickets, etc.

The Doctor is a rogue Time-Lord from the planet Gallifrey.  He fled Gallifrey in a stolen Mark I Type 40 TARDIS.

The Doctor has acquired numerous recurring extraterrestrial foes during his exploits most notably the Daleks, the Cybermen, and the Master.

“That makes sense.  Well done.” — Doctor Who

“They’re made of plastic.  Living plastic creatures.  And they’re being controlled by a relay device on the roof.  Which would be a great big problem if I didn’t have this.  So, I’m gonna go upstairs and blow it up.  And I might well die in the process, but don’t worry about me.  No, you go home.  Go on, go and have your lovely beans on toast.  Don’t tell anyone about this, ’cause if you do, you’ll get them killed.  I’m the Doctor, by the way.  What’s your name?  Nice to meet you, Rose.  Run for your life!” — Doctor Who
