Peter Benjamin Parker is a young, misunderstood, teenage orphan who’s parents we’re killed in an airplane crash overseas.  Though the true legacy of his parents remains a mystery for the young orphan, Peter Benjamin Parker remains vigilant in his quest for justice and the protection of innocence, seeing firsthand the devastating effects of misfortune.  Living with his aunt and uncle, Peter Benjamin Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider, an event that birthed the Webslinger as we know him, giving Peter superhuman strength and agility.  The misunderstood young teenager subsequently evolved into the superhero known as Spiderman, but not before being indirectly responsible for the death of his surrogate father figure Uncle BenEmotionally abandoned once again with intense feelings of guilt and frustrationPeter Parker took such a tragic lesson very seriously; and turned to humanitarian vigilantism as a result.  A brave and righteous heroPeter Benjamin Parker has an indomitable sense of justice and virtue, and knows all too well, as most Idealists do, that “with great power comes great responsibility,” Peter Parker (Earth-616).  Such a burden to bear however, as Peter Benjamin Parker is often scorned, ostracized, and hunted down by the very people he swears to protect.  Peter Benjamin Parker’s pure and sanctified heart however perseveres with relentless passion, as the mysterious fate of his parents unfolds into Spiderman’s true identity.

Idealists often dedicate their lives to this kind of self-realization — seeking to become realized, trying to get in touch with the person they were meant to be, and to have an identity which is truly theirs.” — Please Understand Me II, p. 143

“But for many NFs the search for identity only winds them in more deeply in the complexities of inner division and self-contradiction: the more they seek their Ideal self the more frustrated they are in their search.”  — Please Understand Me II, p. 144

“Some Idealists however reach Siddartha’s perspective and find their true Self, which means that they finally give up struggling to become some perfected idea of themselves, and simply accept themselves as they are.”  — Please Understand Me II, p. 144
